Answers to Some of Your Common Property Management Questions

Can I do my own maintenance?
You have the option to do your own repairs or use a vendor of your choice. We can also help arrange vendors to handle repairs if you would like our assistance.

Do you charge the tenant a security deposit? What about a pet fee?
Yes. Our policy is that the security deposit is typically one month's rent. Pets are not allowed without your permission. When pets are allowed, an additional pet fee of typically $250 is required for each cat, dog or other animal. Any damage above and beyond the pet deposit remains the tenant’s responsibility.

How do you screen tenants?
When screening tenants we perform a national criminal background check. In addition, we also check for evictions within the past 5 years, rental history, employment, and debt ratio.

How will I get my rental income?
Owner payments are made via electronic deposit.

What is a section 8 tenant?
A Section 8 tenant refers to individual who receives assistance with all or a portion of the monthly rent from the county where the property is located.

Where will you advertise my home?
We advertise your home to local and national websites such as Zillow, Trulia, Multiple Listing Service, etc.
